Are your products ready to use?
No, almost all of our products, unless listed as RTU, are concentrated and need to be diluted with water before use. The concentrations will vary but will always be listed on the product labels. Dilutions are suggested best use only. You can decide what strength is best for your own needs.
Do you send out free samples?
In most instances No. We are a very small vendor with a very low profit margin, therefore we can not afford to send out “FREE” samples. But we can send out many items as samples in quart sizes at cost plus shipping. Please call to ask for what a sample would be for you specifically.
Can I get some items free if I order more?
At certain times of the year we may offer a free gallon of a customers choosing when they place an order of a certain size or price amount. You need to watch for these on our website, on our Facebook page and through our other social media outlets such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest. Please follow us to see these when we post them.
Why doesn't your prices include shipping?
Companies that include shipping have to make the money to do so somewhere, they are not doing it for free. We feel it is fairer to the customer to pay exactly what the shipping is for that order at that time rather then them over paying for a product to include the average shipping costs. If not many customers will end up paying more than they should because they are covering someone else’s cost. With this new website we have added a Fed Ex shipping calculator that should give you the current shipping cost added to your order when placed so you can pay a single time. Some orders like for large freight orders will still have to be done by our staff and paid for over the phone.
Why is my shipping different every time when I am ordering the same things?
Because we want customers to pay what the price is right then. Fuel surcharges change every week. Some companies start at one price for shipping and only add to it if the price increase but never lowers it when the costs drop. We do not do that. The online shipping calculator will use the current data to add the shipping to your order. For called in orders we run a price quote for each and every order shipped.
Why do some items have additional shipping costs and handling fees?
Quite a few of our products are DOT hazardous, this means when shipping via Fed Ex Ground they are charged an extra hazmat fee, this fee for 2107 is $32.00/item. These same items when shipped via freight carrier, like R&L, at this time will have no additional charge since the hazmat fees are included. Also small amounts, just a few gallons, of some hazardous products can ship in an order and the hazmat fee is waived shipping as Limited Quantity. We have made every effort to be sure the products with additional fees are mentioned in their descriptions.
What discounts can I get?
We have only a few types of discounts because our prices are already low. We have multiple item discounts, usually after buying 12 of the same or similar item. We have organization discounts for members of the PWNA, the PWRA and the UAMCC. We have repeat order discounts for customers that want a standing repeat order shipped at a set time every month or every other month. For these or if you want to ask about any other discount please call us and ask.
Do you have sales?
Not per say. We do try to have at least one item or group of items at a special price each month throughout the year. You will need to check our website each month to see what it may be or be a follower of our social media outlets and read our posts. We also can have a special offer at a certain times of the year. For example; Our 4th free for the 4th of July, where you order 3, 5 gallons and the 4th is at no cost.
What other specials do you have?
With our new website we are able to offer a reward plan for online orders. For each dollar spent on product, 10¢ is given as a point on that customers online account. Later after getting 10 points, that equals $1, that then can be redeemed on a future online order in the next 365 days. We are tying this out to see how it will work for our customers and the program may change as time goes on.
We also have a referral reward program. Spread the word about Soap Warehouse and our products either by using our website referral page or just by word of mouth. If the friend you referred to us mentions your name and places an order up to $100.00, you will get $5 on your account for the referral, if they order over $100.00 you will get a $10 credit. Right now there is no limit of the number of referral credits you can earn, so spread the word.
If I sign up for offers will I be showered with e-mails or spam?
We understand your concern and no, we seldom send out a mass e-mail and we never sell or loan out our customer list. Now if we have just meet you at a show we may contact you a few times afterwards to see what you may like to try or buy but we will not pester you and we honor any opt out requests. And if you order online and sign up for the reward program you will get up dates on that as to how many points you have or if your points may be close to expiring but that will be it.
What if I think the total I paid online is wrong?
No one is perfect and least of all a computer program that we enter in all the information for. Also there are some times combinations beyond what the program can figure out which can make a total incorrect for more or less than it should be. Just give us a call so that we may examine the transaction for any mistakes. Many times we may have already caught it and may be trying to reach you as well.
